Nice little restaurant. The menu isn't overloaded and the prices are moderate. Our online reservation worked perfectly and we were served nicely and courteously. Should we ever be in the area again, we will certainly be happy to come back!

The food would have been good if the service had worked. As a family, we wanted to reserve a table, which was not possible over the phone because nobody picked up the phone. However, this should work fine via Google and the restaurant's website. We received the cancellations for the reservation very quickly, the next few days were shown as fully booked, unfortunately for all possible times. So we went to the store, if we were lucky, possibly to get a reservation for a later date. The empty restaurant looked very inviting, but the service staff were firmly convinced that it was too late to cook something at a quarter to eight, a shame because we only wanted something to eat and the restaurant was open until 9:00 p.m. Maps). Further inquiries were unfortunately not possible because the service simply left. Conclusion: The food may be wonderful, but probably not for families with more than two children or even people who come to more than two. Edit: we were in the empty shop at quarter to eight, but no reservations were possible for half past seven.

The food was delicious and we were full, the service was good too.

Great schnitzel, nice atmosphere. And the Remo schnitzel is highly recommended. The inventor can only be a grenade!

Went to the Kartoffelkate for lunch today with friends! Apart from the fact that every federal state regulates the mask requirement for itself, we were more than disappointed! At the entrance there was a disinfectant dispenser which unfortunately gave no more than air! The menu was in paper form which wandered funny from the table to. For the exorbitant price, the food was more canned than homemade and side dishes are also charged extra. After guests left the restaurant, the table would only be shown with a cloth without disinfectant. Worst of all in today's situation, a documentation list was not even issued to track the guests! If something should happen there, I'll be curious how you would like to inform me. Just sad that there is no hygiene concept there! The best way to protect yourself is to avoid this shop !!

Highly recommended, very tasty food, price-performance ratio, very child-friendly and very clean. We felt very comfortable. We will be back definitely. Kind regards

Unfortunately disappointed with the waitress. When we got there there was no table available so we made a reservation. Unfortunately, at the reserved time, all tables were occupied again. The cellar woman had apparently not reserved a table for us.

Very cozy, tastefully decorated. Just note: side dishes ordered with the main menu will be charged extra, as the dish can quickly become up to 5 € more expensive! Food tastes good and is a lot! Gladly again!

Very nice, competent service. The schnitzel dishes are really plentiful, almost not done. I think the fried potatoes could be crispier.

We were asked to wear masks, although there is no mask requirement in restaurants and hotels in Saxony-Anhalt. Tourist tax had to be paid in cash, although contactless payment was advertised before the contract was concluded. In the order confirmation it was surprisingly no credit cards, only cash payment. Card payment did work, but not with regard to the tourist tax. My identity card was copied, no information was given on data protection, in particular on the use of the data and on deletion periods and legal bases. Login to the WLAN was not possible. Despite the shared room, it was not possible to lock the door to the bathroom. The rooms and breakfast were otherwise fine.

The food was delicious, but quite expensive and unfortunately you weren't full. I know generous portions as the owner calls them differently (see picture). To be told that you should order a "real" main course, I find very brazen and testifies to a lack of criticism. Just because you are vegetarian and only have this one dish to "choose from" in this restaurant, you should perhaps think about expanding the menu a little. The staff was very nice though.

The food was good, but you have to put it together yourself, which in the end leads to a higher price. The portions were big though. Only three stars in total as we were sent to a table that wasn't even clean, leftover food from the previous guest on the table and spinning plus weaving on the wall. It took forever before the waitress came. We didn't drink until after 30 minutes, and that with the temperatures and the sun. You hardly had a chance to tip, as the price was entered immediately. Maybe a chance for improvement for the owners / waitresses.

It is very quiet there but very beautiful. Who needs the rest then here. I can't judge the room as we didn't have an overnight stay here. But the FOOD AND SERVICE SUPER DELICIOUS AND SUPER NICE 👍👍. For these reasons, I gave it 5 stars 👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊

By far the best German food I've ever eaten !! Absolute recommendation. Portions very large and inexpensive! It is essential to reserve a table, shop is cozy and service is polite and very friendly! Even though the shop was full, we wouldn't have to wait long. Do not understand how you can leave a bad review here, gladly again and again! Tasty tasty :)

We once went on vacation to eat because of the advertising in the magazine. Well, advertising and reality are often apart and that's the way it is here. The food was ok, but not anymore. Others in the Harz region can do that better. The service was polite and the children got painting things - at the same time they got the children's menu.

The pork fillet was a bit too raw and the waitress missed the excuse. Edit: I got a bit more and ate it too, right. Nevertheless, I was sitting there eating without a plate, circumstances for which one could be excused. Subtract a star again for your polite attitude.

Nice cozy restaurant right on the street. The appetizer salad was really tasty and fresh. The schnitzel tastes delicious, but a little tough, therefore only 4⭐. The Oberhammer was the breading of the schnitzel ... yummy 😃 Debit cards payment not possible.
